The Federal Government has declared Monday, March 31, and Tuesday, April 1, 2025, as public holidays to mark the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
The announcement was made by the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, who congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of Ramadan. He urged Nigerians to use this period for prayers, reflection, and acts of kindness in the spirit of the season.
The government also encouraged peaceful and responsible celebrations while wishing all Muslim faithful a joyful Eid-el-Fitr.
